Dr. Bawa finished his medical school at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) in 2001. He did his residency in Internal Medicine at UIC hospital. He also has an MBA in Health Services Management and Finance from Loyola University Chicago.
Dr. Bawa’s Bachelor’s degree is in Chemistry from Northwestern University, where he researched Alzheimer’s disease and co-authored a research paper published in Experimental Neurology. Dr. Bawa has done an externship at Kennedy Space Center, Florida, and has participated in research with Flight Surgeons. He has volunteered with the International Federation of the Red Cross and Red Crescent.
Dr. Bawa has been doing Tox, Fillers, and Laser treatments for almost a decade and thoroughly enjoys these treatments' artistry.
He has been one of the highest utilizers of Tox in the area. Besides aesthetics, he is one of the only physicians in the area who bills insurance to do Tox for migraines and neck pain. In his spare time, he enjoys sailing and participates in many regattas at the Fort Walton Beach Yacht Club. He loves swimming with his children and tries to keep up with his wife in Peloton.
